Gene Therapy for Hemophilia
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, around 33,000 males are
estimated to be living with hemophilia in the United States. Gene therapy for hemophilia offers a transformative solution by addressing the root genetic cause rather than just managing symptoms. Through the delivery of a functional copy of the defective gene, patients can begin producing clotting factors of their own, essentially eliminating the need for regular infusions.
