The Student Scalpel publishes new articles on a rolling basis, with official issue cycles occurring quarterly (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer). Submissions are accepted year-round, but to be considered for the next issue, students should submit their drafts by the current cycle's deadline. Once submitted, articles go through an initial review for clarity and originality, followed by an editing process with our student editorial team. Writers can expect feedback within two weeks, and final pieces are typically published within a month of acceptance.
